“You’re probably asking yourself, maybe you’re involved in a loan mod, maybe you’re thinking about getting one, maybe you heard about your neighbor’s nightmare that they went through with their loan mod and you’re asking yourself, are loan mod’s a scam? By definition of a scam, I don’t know if they are. I will tell you this, there are far more people that apply for a loan mod that get denied than ever get approved. In fact, I’ve only heard about people getting approved. I’ve never actually met a person in real life, and I’ve talked to lots of people, who got a loan mod actually approved, signed off and finalized. It’s very, very rare. It just doesn’t happen very often, the main reason is there’s securitization involved. I’m covering this lightly, in our book, that you should download, the instructions are below, we cover all of these issues. Is it securitized? Is the lender you’re talking to the actual lender? There’s all kinds of reasons why the loan mod itself is not going to go through. Some people feel like they’re a scam, I won’t say they’re a scam, but I think you should do it because it does set a nice precedent. It shows, that if you do wind up going into court, it shows that you’re a very reasonable person trying to get a resolution to something, and it makes the bank out to be the bad guy for not being willing to work with you.
